Westside Discs

Disc Connection’s Favourite Westside Discs

To many in the disc golf community, Westside Discs are some of the most aesthetically pleasing discs in terms of design. However, these beautiful discs do a whole lot more than just look good in your bag. Westside Discs create high-performance discs ideal for beginners and professionals alike. Here are a few of the Disc Connection team’s favourite Westside discs.

Drivers

If it’s distance and control you’re after in your drivers, the Westside Discs range definitely won’t disappoint.

  • Giant. This overstable distance driver is one for the professionals amongst us. It’s a fast one and is great for controlled curving, fade shots, and flicks. Windy day on the course? It won’t be an issue if you’re using Westside Discs’ Giant.
  • King. If you’re looking for more distance on your drives, the King is the disc for you. It’s one of the fastest golf discs on the market, and while it’s overstable, it has a decent amount of turn, allowing it to glide and fly further than most discs out there.
  • Ahti. The Westside Ahti is an overstable fairway driver with similar flight numbers to the Innova Firebird. It’s a go-to disc for consistent fade forehand or backhand.

Mid-Range

Westside Discs make a killer range of mid-range discs, so we know you’re about to have a brand new favourite to add to your bag.

  • Anvil. If you’re going out to play on a windy day, you’re going to want the Westside Anvil in your bag. It’s the perfect overstable mid-range disc.
  • Pine. The newest mid-range disc from Westside, the Pine holds a straight line and consistently fades back. It’s a reliable one to have on you.
  • Gatekeeper. This disc was designed to keep you on the fairway. The Gatekeeper will go right where you throw it, although it does tend to fade when thrown with power.

Putters

When it comes to consistent, stable putters, it’s hard to think of any brand we’d rather have in our bags than Westside Discs.

  • Harp. This overstable putt and approach disc can also be used for straight drives with a bite at the end of the flight. Talk about versatility!
  • Shield. The Shield is an overstable putter that flies even straighter than the Harp. It’s a top-notch, consistent disc.
  • Maiden. If you’re looking for a really comfortable, straight-flying putter, you can’t go past the Westside Maiden. This is a great putter for beginners to the game.
